Dreaming Mountain Range3

Artist's note

It is a work of human will toward something that makes up a huge history just as mountains come together to form a single mountain range. With a strong will as the centerline, the human body is compressed into a flat shape, and various groups of humans are expressed in various sizes and colors. I try to communicate easily with the audience by expressing the various emotions I feel while living in a deformed form of a human body sculpture.

Introduction

A large, colorful sculpture takes on the corner of the Wadong branch school playground next to the garden. It looks like a vast mountain range and somehow looks like a person lying on the ground looking toward the sky. Red, blue, and yellow represent Korea's rivers and mountains changing distinctively according to the seasons. Right next to this work is a sculpture that helps us understand such a massive installation. This work, where humans and nature form a great harmony, forms a mountain range of art, serving as an enormous wall and embracing the vast outdoor space in the branch school.
